Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Craig A. Walder Jr. was born and raised in the city of Dayton, Oh. With church being at the center of his home he accepted Christ at the age of 12 at Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Norman McDuffie.

Like many young people do, Craig strayed away from the Church but after many bumps and bruises he realized at the age of 24; life without Christ is pointless. Craig Returned back to his church roots with Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Senior Pastor Terence O Hayes, Sr.

For sixteen years Craig served as a Y.P.W.W. and Sunday School teacher, a faithful musician, a youth minister, a media volunteer, while taking various maintenance tasks and any supportive role for the pastoral team. Craig is a servant of God and he continues to promote servitude, stating “Jesus was the ultimate servant and I wanna be like him.”

Craig was employed with Montgomery County Juvenile for 13 years. He’s now the Principal at Westwood Prep Academy schools, where serving young people continues to be a passion of his.

He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice Corrections, and a Master’s degree in Biblical studies Homiletics.

Craig’s biggest joy in life is serving God and serving his beautiful children; J’lynn, Caiya, Cory, and Chance the man.
